Hello and welcome to Wild Wellness. What is Wild Wellness you ask? Well to start it is a blog that will (hopefully) help you through the struggles of obtaining a healthy mind, body, and soul. Wow, that sounded very “Zen like” and not like me at all, but it truly is my desire through this blog, and other social platforms, to provide insights and guidance into obtaining health, healing, and wellness.
My name is Krystal Miller and as I am writing this I am currently 37 years old, a mother to one full time but gave birth to three, and have struggled with mental illness, physical pain and injury, as well emotional turmoil and struggle. As I embarked on a path of wellness about 4 years ago now, I discovered that so many people struggle with the same things I have struggled through. We aren’t really that different. We all crave connection, we all struggle with identity, and from what I can tell we have all been through a lot of… well lets just say harsh realities. While the story details change from person to person the end result is pretty much the same. We are all BROKEN!
Brokenness is a human condition that we all experience regardless of race, gender, wealth, upbringing, age, or anything else. I have met children who are just as broken as war vets, and wealthy one percenters fractured and struggling through emotional baggage just like the single parent on the verge of homelessness. When you strip away the labels, the titles, and the masks we wear; and take a moment to listen to the stories people possess you will find the common threads that join us together as human.
Wild Wellness is a brand I am creating to strip back the layers of who we are as people. To get back to basics, back to our wild, intuitive nature and achieve whole body health and wellness. Everything from who we are, who we want to be, and who we are meant to be starts at the beginning. We need to unpack the emotional baggage we have been packing and carrying our whole lives and deal with some harsh realities in order to heal. We need to cut out the toxic food, people, and habits we have been injesting as we navigated this world to rid ourselves of illness and pain. Most importantly though we need to seek and connect to God as we travel down this path to finding our own Wild Wellness. Only through Him will we have the strength and support to tear open the scars we have wearing and be able to truly forgive, heal, and step into the life He intended for us.
The journey isn’t easy and even after 4 years I am still growing and learning and healing, but I truly believe it is what we were placed on this earth to do. Through the life we live, the choices we made, and the situations out of our control we all experienced things that shattered us and left cracks in our soul. Its through those cracks though that God shines his light and uses our stories to help others, to connect to others, and to become better and worthy of the access to His kingdom by the time our lives here are over. Life isn’t about what happened to you, it’s about how you use it to help others and how you yourself heal from it through Him.
